Care Coordinator- (Full Time)

POSITION SUMMARY:
In this role, the Care Coordinator will work at the Vera House shelter facility and handle a variety of day-to-day care and support activities for the victims of domestic violence, abuse, and sexual assault. The Care Coordinator will provide in-person and telephone crisis intervention at the request of victims or referral sources; ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment to all shelter residents and visitors. During the daytime shifts, there will be travel throughout the area for client transport, and other shelter needs. This position will manage difficult and/or emotional client situations, use a trauma-informed care approach and respond promptly to client needs, often providing emotional support for the short-term and immediate needs of shelter residents and their families. This role will perform daily cleaning duties, prepare rooms for new residents, and assist with room turnover to ensure a welcoming environment.

$18.00 - $19.00 hourly (non-exempt)
